Aaron Ayer (NY) is Founder and President of The Hunley Group, a marketing and sales consulting firm serving high-growth businesses. He has worked in the cleantech industry for five years, serving as VP of Marketing & Business Development for Hycrete and StrionAir (purchased by Carrier Corporation).
Domenic Armano (MA) is Director, Strategy & Innovation at Johnson Control Energy Solutions in MA has worked in water and energy efficiency field for 15 years with experience ranging from healthcare facilities, university and research facilities, power plants, manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings and apartment complexes.
Scott Barnett (NY) is a 20+ year veteran of the Enterprise software space and is very excited to have recently entered into the Cleantech space. Scott is currently Global Sales Leader for GE Energy Storage, a new “startup” within GE focused on the next generation of Sodium based battery technology. Prior to GE, Scott was the CEO of Evident Software, an enterprise software company that provides management, monitoring and real time visualizations of Java and "big data" applications. Scott co-founded and served as COO at Bluenog, an enterprise software and solutions company.
Manoj Bhatia (NC) is Director for Smart Grid Partner Alliances for the General Electric Commercial T & D division. Prior to this appointment, Manoj worked for 11 years at Cisco Systems in network systems design.
Wes Bray (CT) is a Lead Venture mentor at the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute at Yale University. Wes is also a Partner at Wes Bray & Associates providing senior management consulting with particular emphasis on marketing, positioning, entrepreneurship, retail, and customer relations. Previously, Wes was President & CEO of Retail Optimization Inc and Founder & COO of HipCricket Inc.
Michael Caslin (NY) is Chairman and CEO of URGENT VC to support the development of sustainable cities. Mike also is a joint Professor at Babson College, Arthur Blank Center for Entrepreneurship and Cuny-Baruch College-Zicklin School of Business, where he teaches Entrepreneurship, Social Enterprise Management and Sustainability at the graduate and undergraduate level.
Ron Croce (CT) was previously Executive Vice-President & COO of PointSpeed, Inc., which was a business-to-business e commerce company. Ron is a proven leader with extensive financial and operating experience ranging from start-ups to multinational companies. Ron also worked as CFO for CMGi (SalesLink.com), and was Vice-President of Finance at NovaSoft Systems, Inc.
Owen Davis (NY) is Managing Director of NYC Seed, a seed stage venture capital fund. Owen has worked in all aspects of the online world including work with the early version of AOL and MSN. He co-founded Sonata, Petal Computing and founded Thinking Media.
Kevin Flynn (NC) is a Partner at the Eclipse Group and brings over eighteen years of experience in intellectual property law as well as a broad engineering and scientific background. Kevin served as a project engineer for Duke Power prior to beginning his legal career.
Ron Gonen (PA) is Executive Officer and Director of RecycleRewards Inc. Ron co-founded Recyclebank, Inc. in 2004 and served as its Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to RecycleBank, Mr. Gonen served as Senior Consultant of Deloitte Consulting. He focused on developing CRM and strategic account management programs for clients. His clients have included Bank of America, Bank of Montreal, Bank One, GE, and DIRECTV.
Eric Hallman (NC) was most recently the founder and CEO of Kryosphere Inc. a biotech start-up company; the Southeast’s first commercial biostorage business. Eric is a senior executive, scientist, and educator in entrepreneurial enterprise in the life science and civic leader in public policy implementation.
Dan Hoversten (OH) is currently a Consultant with TechColumbus. Dan has years of buyout, money management, hedge fund and venture capital experience on the East Coast. Previously CEO at Salvage Direct where he led the successful exit to a strategic buyer funded by a NYC private equity firm.
Brad Ives (NC) is CEO of Inegro Earthfuels. Previously, Brad was the founder and CEO of Illumination Renewables LLC, which was a renewable energy project development company.
Martin Long (MA) has twenty years experience in established and early-stage technology companies. Recently, Martin was founder and VP Business Development of Enertaq Inc. Currently he is a second year mentor at Mass Challenge.

Bill O’Farrell (RI) has been starting and running tech companies since 1990; previously was CEO of SpeechWorks, co-founded and CEO of OpenAir.com, CEO of Public Display. Bill currently Founder and Managing Partner at Ground Floor, LLC.
Rich Overmoyer (PA) is a nationally known thought leader in the innovation-based economic development field and has served in diverse roles in Pennsylvania's economic development community. Rich is President & CEO of Fourth Economy, a startup consulting firm in Pittsburgh.
Govi Rao (NY) is CEO of Noveda Technologies. Govi was formerly Vice President and General Manager of the Philips Solid State Lighting business in North America, responsible for pioneering sustainable technologies such as solid state lighting.
Frank Shinneman (NJ) has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of a number of high technology start-ups. He led Lamina Lighting, the highest power LED lighting producer, selling the company to Lighting Science Group. Prior to joining Lamina, Shinneman was president of PlasmaSol Corporation, the sale of which he successfully negotiated to Stryker Instruments in 2005.
Steve Smith (NY) is Managing Partner at Pegasus Capital Advisors. Previously, Steve was Venture Partner at Global Technology Investments, and a Senior Managing Director at Ritchie Capital as well as Senior Managing Director at GE Equity.
Yanev Suissa (MD) is a Venture Fellow at NEA. He focuses on earlier stage investments in tech and energy, while simultaneously providing regular advisory services to energy companies across NEA's portfolio. Prior to joining NEA, Yanev was a Senior Investment Officer with the Department of Energy's Loan Guarantee Program. At the Department of Energy, Yanev was engaged in the underwriting of billions of dollars of debt for issuance to companies spanning all sectors within the energy technology industry.
